Mother’s Day Weekend Garden Delights

“Free!” with our purchase from Stark Brothers years ago.

Out of the hydrangeas, lily of the valley, cherry tree that we ordered. The freebies are the only things that made it. 🙂

This is a smaller version than the pink giants that I posted a week or so ago. I love the rich, velvety redness of them.

Candlestick Verbena (not sure exactly what the proper name for this one is). I love it because the butterflies do, too. But I have to fight it back every year.

Last, the patio tomato plant that we purchased as a seedling at the beginning of April has its first fruits. The plant is no more than two feet tall, planted in a 5-gallon bucket painted black. It has at least 5 tomatoes on it already. Hoping for a summer full of them!
