A blog I read on occasion had a post recently where the author showed a picture of her worn out tomato plants. She was in the southern hemisphere, so she’s close to experiencing the start of Winter. More importantly, this signified a definite end point to garden-fresh tomatoes. I know how she feels every Fall as our days shorten and our tomato-pickings thin. But now, the plants are bursting with the results of a warmer than usual Spring.
